Committee Spotlight: Melissa Portolan

​Deputy Chairperson Melissa Portolan is a social work student who has lived in Bunbury since 2009.

​Her role at HRFC is to help Lisa with the management of the committee, and step in if Lisa is unwell or unable to attend meetings.

She is passionate about fostering better community engagement with the HRFC target community, particularly for teens, young single adults and men.

She also wants to help promote the centre to local groups and businesses as a potential venue or means of support.

She loves to read anything she can get her hands on, especially if it’s fun and comedy.
