Free taster sessions on offer

Relationships Australia’s Education Service will hold free information and taster sessions in February at the Relationships Australia Centre.

Relationships Australia is a leading provider of relationship support services around the country including counselling, family dispute resolution/mediation, and a range of family and community support and education programs.

Education Service Coordinator Marie-Therese Mahoney, who is also a Hudson Road Family Centre Committee Member, said the Education Service presented programs on self-development, relationships, parenting, men and fathering, as well as personal development courses on topics such as communication in a team and how to deal with abusive customers.

“We are going to run free taster sessions and give a general outline of all the courses we run,” she said.

“There will be morning and evening sessions for each category. If you would like to find out more about our educations programs for yourself, a friend, family member or clients this is a great opportunity.”

These taster sessions will allow people to find out more about the workshops offered by Relationships Australia, meet the team, learn a new skill and give feedback on programs they would like scheduled in the future.

All the sessions are informal and run for one hour. There are eight sessions over one week that will cover Fathering, Self-Development, Couples & Relationships and Parenting. Tea and coffee will be provided.

The Relationships Australia Centre is located on the corner of Molloy and Symmons Streets in Bunbury. Bookings are preferred and can be made on 6164 0566, but walk-ins are welcome.
