Spotlight: Lisa Whittaker

Hudson Road Family Centre Chairperson Lisa Whittaker currently works as the Regional Manager with Anglicare WA, overseeing a large variety community service programs in the Goldfields, Great Southern and South West Regions.

She has been involved with the Hudson Road Family Centre since renting her first Anglicare Office there in 1997.

Lisa has been employed by Anglicare since moving to WA from Newcastle, NSW with her partner and two children, after falling in love with the Bunbury community and lifestyle while traveling around Australia. ​

She has qualifications in Social Science (Welfare Studies), Business, Family Dispute Resolution, Children's Contact Services, Training and Assessing and Leadership and Management.

Lisa is passionate about working with people, building positive communities, promoting empowerment and resilience. She has served on the management committee over the last 20 years, holding many roles on the committee throughout that time.

She loves working at the centre, as it has allowed her to meet a variety of wonderful people and develop great friendships.
