Spotlight on MOPS

MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) is a local group for mums with children aged 0-6 years. Every fortnight they meet together for a morning that is especially for mums, while their children are cared for in their own program called MOPPETS.

The Bunbury MOPS group started in February 2017, and is chartered to South West Baptist Church in Dalyellup.

“A typical MOPS morning includes morning tea, time with friends, guest speakers and teaching on a range of topics, as well as craft,” SW Region Leader and Bunbury Coordinator Catherine Begley said.

“We belong to MOPS Australia, and are a community of women who believe that better mums make a better world.

“At MOPS we encourage and equip women to be the best mums they can be, as well as challenge each other to reach our potential and recognise our influence within our families and the world,” she said.
